My Approach
Every property is different, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
I start by experiencing your property as a guest would — looking at the journey from the first interaction through to check-out and everything in between.
I look at what you're already doing well, where the experience could be strengthened, and the small opportunities that could make a meaningful difference.
From there, we can decide together what makes sense for your property.
-
The audit is the starting point for everything I do.
I spend time experiencing your property as a guest, paying attention to the details that are easy to overlook when you're there every day.
This can include everything from the booking and pre-arrival experience, arrival and welcome, staff interactions and communication, to the room, dining experience, guest touchpoints and the overall feeling of the stay.
You'll receive a detailed report highlighting:
What's already working well
Opportunities to improve the guest journey
Small details that could make a big difference
Areas where the experience could feel more considered or consistent
Practical recommendations you can actually implement
The goal isn't to find fault. It's to give you a fresh perspective and help you see your property the way your guests do.
-
Once we've identified the opportunities, we can take the next step with a tailored staff workshop.
This isn't about handing your team a script or teaching them how to provide “perfect” service.
It's about helping them understand the guest experience as a whole — the impact of small interactions, anticipating needs, paying attention to details and creating genuine connections with guests.
The workshop is fully bespoke and shaped around the findings from your audit, so your team is working on the things that are actually relevant to your property.
Available as an add-on to the Guest Experience Audit or a standalone service.
-
Every guest-facing detail communicates something about your property — from your menus and signage to your welcome information, room directories, guest packs and other printed materials.
If your visual touchpoints aren't quite telling the same story as the property itself, I can help bring them together.
This can include:
Guest information and welcome materials
Menus and in-room collateral
Signage
Printed guest touchpoints
Business cards and stationery
Digital guest communications
Refreshing or developing existing branded materials
The aim isn't to redesign everything for the sake of it.
It's about making sure the details your guests interact with feel intentional, cohesive and true to your property.

The Good Guest Network
You don't have to do it all yourself. Sometimes an audit uncovers opportunities that go beyond guest experience alone.
Perhaps the rooms need a fresh perspective. Your uniforms no longer reflect the property. Your photography isn't doing the space justice. Your kitchen could benefit from some operational input. Or you simply need better-quality guest amenities.
Over time, I've built a trusted network of people across different areas of hospitality and design who I can bring in when the right expertise is needed.
Depending on what your property needs, I can connect you with trusted professionals including:
Interior design & styling
For spaces that need a fresh eye, refinement or a complete rethink.
Uniforms & embroidery
Helping your team look as considered as the property they represent.
Photography
Capturing your property and the experience you offer in a way that makes people want to be there.
Kitchen operations & food presentation
Specialist support to improve the behind-the-scenes operation and how the dining experience reaches the guest.
Guest amenities
Recommendations for hotel-quality soaps, shampoos, body creams and other thoughtful in-room touches.
And more, depending on what we uncover together.
