Hi, I’m Nicole.

I’ve always been captivated by how a place makes you feel.

Whether it’s a beautifully considered room, a warm welcome or a tiny detail you weren’t expecting — it’s often the little things that make the biggest difference to the way we experience a stay.

My journey into hospitality began when I studied Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at The Private Hotel School in Stellenbosch. After working in Southern Sun The Cullinan in Cape Town, I went on to work on yachts, where I experienced seven-star service and learnt just how much attention to detail goes into creating an exceptional guest experience.

My career then took me through hospitality, events and design… three very different worlds, but all centered around one thing: creating experiences for people. Eventually, I realised I was naturally looking at properties through a guest's eyes. What works? What could feel better? What little moments are being missed?

And that's where The Good Guest Co. came from.

I believe great hospitality doesn't need to be complicated. It needs to be thoughtful, genuine and intentional.

Because luxury isn't just what a guest sees. It's how they feel.

And sometimes, the little things aren't little at all.
